There are two categories of documents related to exporting:

Documents related to shipping which might consist of:

  • Packing list
  • Domestic bill of lading
  • Export license
  • Shipper's export declaration

Documents related to collection/payment and clearance at the destination which might consist of:

  • Commercial invoice
  • Consular invoice
  • Certificate of origin
  • Inspection certificate
  • Ocean bill of lading / Air waybill
  • Insurance certificate
  • Dock receipt / Warehouse receipt

Some or all of these documents must be secured and presented in a timely and accurate manner. Any errors can result in costly delays in payment for you and delivery for your customer.
